PINELLAS PARK TRUST CLAIMS $34 MILLION TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announced today that FLORIDA LOTTO™ winner The Abrantes and Thomas Revocable Trust, of Pinellas Park, claimed the $34 million jackpot drawn on June 13. The Abrantes and Thomas Revocable Trust chose the one-time, lump-sum payment for the winnings in the amount of $18,800,820.72. The trustee of the Abrantes and Thomas Revocable Trust is Joseph A. Abrantes. The winning FLORIDA LOTTO ticket was purchased at Stop N Karry, located at 801 Clearwater Largo Road S.W. in Largo. The retailer received a bonus incentive of $70,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. The winning numbers were: 09 - 14 - 25 - 28 - 33 - 40 Total ticket sales for this jackpot generated approximately $24 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $19 billion to the EETF, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education. The Abrantes and Thomas Revocable Trust is the 63rd FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot winner to purchase a winning ticket in Pinellas County. The next FLORIDA LOTTO drawing will be held on Wednesday, June 24, at 11:15 p.m. ET with a $3 million base jackpot.
