TRINITY MAN CLAIMS SHARE OF $197,811 FANTASY 5® TOP PRIZE TALLAHASSEE -- The Florida Lottery announced today that FANTASY 5® winner John Mamo, 57, of Trinity, claimed his share of the FANTASY 5 top prize drawn on September 24. The drawing produced three top prize winners; one ticket remains unclaimed. Along with his top prize winning ticket, Mamo claimed two other winning tickets at the Lottery district office and received a total prize payout of $66,016. He purchased his winning tickets at Trinity Liquor & Wine, located at 9945 Trinity Boulevard, Suite 103 in New Port Richey. The retailer received a bonus incentive of $500 for selling the top prize winning FANTASY 5 ticket. The winning numbers were: 02 - 03 - 11 - 12 - 17 Total ticket sales for this top prize generated approximately $255,000 for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $20 billion to the EETF, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.
