TWO PLAYERS CELEBRATE MULTI-MILLION-DOLLAR WINS

TALLAHASSEE -The Florida Lottery (Lottery) announces that John Cabral, 58, of Beverly Hills, and Alexander Burton, 43, of Ocala, each claimed a $2 million prize from the POWERBALL© Draw game at the Lottery's Gainesville District Office. The winning tickets matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Powerball number.
Burton purchased his $2 million winning POWERBALL© ticket for the Wednesday, January 5, 2022 drawing from Publix, located at 2765 Northwest 49th Avenue in Ocala.
The retailers will each receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning POWERBALL ticket.
