The Florida Lottery's Procurement Management Office is a centralized operation responsible for the acquisition of commodities and services ranging from the routine to the very complex. The Lottery's procurement process plays a key role in the support of the Lottery's mission and strategic objectives by minimizing the percentage of sales allocated to administrative expense through an effective and efficient procurement process.
Acquisitions are made using several procurement tools which include: telephone quotations, State Contracts and negotiated agreements, General Services Administration contracts, the Invitation to Bid, the Request for Proposal, the Invitation to Negotiate, an Informal Competitive Quotation, or a Request for Offer.
